Bonfire Outfitters was created by Joel Pilcher as a passion project. Joel is an accomplished charcoal fine artist who has—for nearly a decade—used his talents and skills to create wildlife, western and religious artwork for thousands to enjoy and hang in their homes, offices or wherever they might reside. Prior to focusing on fine art, Joel was a professional digital illustrator and graphic designer. His favorite digital art projects included creating graphics for apparel and a variety of other products. For Joel, Bonfire Outfitters is an exciting return to his roots as a digital artist.

Why Bonfire?

Joel was raised in the heart of the Rocky Mountains and loves the great outdoors. He spent his childhood with his family hiking the canyons and peaks, backpacking, camping, fishing, hunting and off-roading. He continues to make time to head to the hills with his wife and kids every chance he gets to mountain bike and enjoy the quiet escape the wilderness provides. Some of Joel's favorite memories are sitting around the bonfire, sharing stories of outdoor adventures and wilderness lore. Like a campfire in the wild, time in nature with family and friends always seems to add a little more light to the dark and chaotic world. Joel hopes the digital artwork he creates for the Bonfire Outfitters brand will do for others what it does for him—bring the memories and excitement of the great outdoors home to everyday life.
